An average inspection takes about 2 1/2 hours.

In every inspection we have three things in mind -

• Identify any health/safety hazards
• Identify any concerns and conditions
• Document all problems areas.

Outside the home, we inspect the grading, driveway and walkways for cracks and other hazards and condition. Decks, windows, retaining walls, electrical runs and exterior outlets. A/c condenser and exterior generators are just a few of the external areas we inspect.

Turning our inspection to the structure, we cover the roof, flashings, chimneys, any penitration into the structure draws our attention. The exterior walls, siding, windows, doors are all inspected for condition, concerns and type.

Moving inside we examine the walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and windows. The heating, air-conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems will all be examined to ensure that they function as intended. Bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms receive a thorough check, along with the attic and basement or crawl space.

It has been said, in a properly done inspection, over 2500 items are inspected.
